Our Little Plastic Friend

Don't panic, this isn't turning into a week of re-runs, but this little film, created and narrated by David Green, didn't really get the airing it deserved when it appeared over at Poetry24 on Monday, due to a technical hitch. Technical hitch with Blogger, I hear you cry...surely not?

Anyway, here it is again. I'd be interested to hear what you make of it.

  1. Strangely enough I watched it first of all with the sound turned off and it still worked very well just as a series of images. Indeed it had a poetic feel as the images sparked thoughts and connections. Watched it again with sound and it is something else, equally thoughtful. But it does raise the question : can there be such a thing as a silent poem?

  2. Words and pictures go stunningly well together and not only inform but entertain! Bravo, bravo, bravo!!! *smile*

  3. This was a fantastic video. A great awareness raising video. So well done!
