I missed this the first time, so I'm very glad you resurrected, "the dragon"! Just curious, have you seen the animated, "How To Train Your Dragon"? It is wonderful!
Thank you. Yes,the past few mornings have been as white as snow. We're on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border and, as in many rural areas, the frosts here are usually pretty harsh.
I remember it well Martin, and, as I said to Alan, I’m really not missing it at all. I had some lovely pictures I took of frosted cobwebs on the school gate one morning on my last year there, but I can’t find them (apart from on the archived school website, where they are very tiny). It’s a shame as I would have loved to have used them as a prompt for a poem on the blog.
I'm glad you brought the dragon out again! It's been a bit like that in Aberdeen lately, too. (And - for some reason your blog doesn't seem able to recognise my WordPress i.d., I wonder why?)
I'll bet it was pretty raw in Aberdeen. I don't know why my blog doesn't recognise your Wordpress i.d. Your comments are coming through loud and clear, and your blog is being picked up on my blogroll. Strange.
I've decided not to receive awards here. Not that I am grouchy or unappreciative, but I am often tight for blogging time. I'd rather be posting something new and responding to your comments. A heartfelt thanks to all those who have considered me for a nomination.

Thanks, Kat. No, I haven't seen this one, but will keep an eye open for it.
DeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mama.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad you re-posted too. Do I take it that it’s a wee bit frosty in UK?

DeleteYes, winter's finally arrived here too. Beautiful ice shapes invite us to get lyrical.
ReplyDeleteWould you believe that I'd rather have milder conditions back again?
I remember this one! Excellent then, excellent now!
ReplyDeleteBrrrr!!
