Magpie Tales: Roter Fleck II

Horns and plates,
planets and gates,
a tongue, a boomerang too.
Ol' Roter Fleck
gives a crick in the neck,
with colours and shapes all askew.

  1. Ah but what colours and shapes; I do like a bit of Kandinsky, and look what he inspired you to write!

    1. I agree, Little Nell. There's a vibrancy here, that extends way beyond shape and colour.

  2. I applaud you for being able to work "boomerang" into a rhymed poem! Excellent - and I too like Kandinsky.

  10. Hmm, I can comment using Safari but not using Firefox...I wonder why? I was interested in what you 'saw' in the painting. It looks like someone trying to put up a beach umbrella to me!

I've decided not to receive awards here. Not that I am grouchy or unappreciative, but I am often tight for blogging time. I'd rather be posting something new and responding to your comments. A heartfelt thanks to all those who have considered me for a nomination.
